I'm not sure when or where it was first announced, but the following thread indicates that the Savage 10ML has been discontinued.

Why the heck has savage stop making the greatest muzzleloader ever produced? I own 1 but I may want another someday, now the price is gonna skyrocket I hope another manufacturer buys the patent and starts making them again.

No mention of it on their site. They are still listing the Model 10ML II and its manual shows smokeless loads.
