Is $450 a reasonable price for a 10FP-LE1 or does it seem a bit high? That is the one in .308 with the 20" barrel. This is from a local dealer so wouldn't have to add shipping or transfer fee, only tax. It's basically the same price I see them for on gunsamerica so I may grab it.

Thanks for any comments.

Doesn't sound like anything special to me; with tax you're back within ~$20 of Gunbroker. I'd look a little longer.

thats 30 less than I paid my local dealer for mine.

get it now so you can have more time to shoot it!

I can't tell you how happy I am with mine.:D :D

That is 130 under Savage list. If you have a need or just want it is a good price. Wait a while and someone else will buy it and you can talk about the one that got away. Seriously if you can use for lt the price is good.

Lists at $578 at Savage's site. And Savage is the best bang for your buck. Mind you, I would not pay a premium for the words 'Law Enforcement' in the name of a rifle. It's just a heavy barreled .308 Savage. Mind you, it seems to be the only heavy barreled .308 they make. Have a look at the Savage 12 series. Kind of depends on what you plan on using it for. The difference is the barrel length.

yeah, that seems about right. I think I paid $440 for mine (24" heavy barrel in .308 )

That's looks about right (NIB). Get two or three figures before you buy, though.

Great rifle.

I'm not really in any rush, so I think I'll let it ride for now. Sounds like an OK price if I were wanting/needing it soon, but but I may find it for less. Since I'm not in any rush I'll just keep my eyes open. Don't have the funds for the rest of project yet anyway i.e. scope, bipod, stock etc... so I'll just keep looking and buy which ever piece I find first for a decent price.

Thanks very much for the replies.
