Has anyone done this and/or is it possible. I've been searching but haven't found anything. Not sure if there is a kit or if it would be a weld/hack job to make it happen.

    thx

Mandatory "mind the law" post. :)

I've thought about how much fun an SBR AK would be, but have never convinced myself that it'd be practical enough to go ahead with it. Maybe some day...

It can be done. You need to have enough skill to add a rear trunion. In Europe the AK Pistols can be had in rifle version due to a lack of (silly) SBR laws.

Does this look like a hack job? With an approved form 1, it is easily done.

Adding a stock greatly enhances accuracy.

You don't have to put a folder on your Romanian pistol-to-sbr project.

None of the pictured rifles are mine. I'm just using the pictures for demonstration purposes.
