Woodruff Shooting Leaves One Dead

One man is dead after a shooting in Woodruff Monday.

The Spartanburg County coroner's office told WYFF News 4 that Chad
Shelton, 22, was shot in a home Sharpe Street after he and another man
allegedly forced their way in.

A man in the home grabbed a gun and shot Shelton.

Shelton was taken to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, where he later
died.

There is no word of any arrests or suspects at this time.

I am near Rock Hill. I go to Pappy's Gun Shop in Edgemoor, south of Rock Hill.

Well... I've never heard of Pappy's but my parents live in Tega Cay, a little north of Rock Hill. I've been to the Hyatt (sp?) in Charlotte several times. Big shop, but in a VERY sketchy area. Might have to look up Pappy's the next time I visit.
