Schematic for a 1911

anybody know where I might be able to get a schematic for a 1911 that I would be able to hang on the wall. Maybe even put it in a frame. Would need it big enough for my old eyes to see.

While at it, maybe a site that has schematics for some different guns like a Winchester 1984 (pre-64) 30-30.

Just a question..........Did you try looking for it yourself? You can find just about anything and everything during a search.

I yet to find one that is big enough to frame. Would like a detail schematic that is about 2' wide and maybe 18" high and maybe in color. Even would like to have one for an A15.

Do you have any idea where to find one?

Take the file provided in post #2 on a thumb drive to any decent photo-copy shop and have them print it as big as you want it to be!!

They can do it on white paper, parchment, sepia tone antique, whatever you want for a few dollars.

You can print it out poster size on any home printer, using a poster making software.
I use Poster Razor - good for targets and Halloween monsters for the front lawn.
Very easy to use.

as noted, as long as you start with a hi resolution file, you can have it enlarged to pretty much any size you want and retain quality.

Most blueprints are not going to be found in larger than 1:1 scale as they are meant as working drawings, not wall hangings.
