I’m thinking of replacing my beavertail forearm with a Schnabel forearm. Besides disliking the beavertail aesthetics, I’m more comfortable with a non-flared forearm. My Citori 20 gauge is straight, no flare-out (beavertail) or flare-in (Schnabel). This is strictly a skeet gun; don’t know if that matters?

    Opinions?

I prefer neither the beavertail or Schnabel foreend. If I have a choice, I want a straight foreend similar to a field Citori or like this on the Fabbri:

    Much slimmer, no issues

I have a field grade Citori with a straight foreend and it works just fine. I’ve shouldered a Schnabel O/U but never shot one. They feel real nice.

I prefer the Lightning vs Hunter forends on Citoris. The Hunters look cool, but the Lightnings feel better.
As is usually the case.......can;t get both look and feel at the same time LOL.
    Keeps me buying/trying stuff out.

Looking on Browning’s website I’d say 2/3 of their high grade O/Us have Schnabel forearms.

And they also port barrels; Schnabels are one thing you either like or detest. I don't like them.
