I've been shooting the T/C Contender carbine in 22 Hornet for years. It's got a Tasco world class 2x7x32mm mounted on it. One of my favorite rifles still to this day. Short, light weight and deadly accurate. With my hand loads she'll group .625" at 100 yards if I do my part.

I had a mini 14 come into my shop with a live round lodged in the chamber. S**T can happen in all firearms .

Ruger number 1 gets a rap for poor accuracy. I have one in .223 took it to a gunsmith before
I even shot it. For not a lot of money he did the trigger and accurized it a little. On good days
it will do three shots into a 1/2 inch at a 100 Yds.

I always enjoyed shooting my Marlin 915 YS single shot .22 because it was so accurate
and it had a perfect trigger pull, (real sharp and crisp and clean and right up front with no mush or slack.)
After I bought the gun I went back to the store where I had bought it and told them that the gun had made me a better shot.
I honestly don't know if I will ever find a gun with such a perfect trigger pull as that Marlin single shot .22.

No, I paid just under 200 for a cva single shot tack driver, brand new, slapped my own scope on it, and from now on all my single shots will have that stamp, their customer service is wonderful, their product is amazing, and they're affordable!

I've got a highwall 1885 Browning Creedmore BPCR in .45-90. Good to 1,000 yards. Does that count?

I have a Crickett (don't judge me) I can neuter flies with. Total impulse buy for me, when I went to Dick's to pick up some bulk 9s. One hundred bucks, and later I slapped a five dollar Tasco scope on it, and she shoots honest .5" groups at 50 all day long.

The short stock isn't an issue for me and comes in handy when I'm wearing layers, weighs 3lbs, and there's a little space in the stock I keep the iron sights, ten spare shells, and a basic survival kit in.

I use it to zap rats in the backyard using CB caps and can take the usual critters down with it as need be.

................ As long as this is a single shot thread .............. Has anyone seen one yet? .... They do look nice but I need to see one in person. I find those things pretty interesting.

I noticed this on Gunbroker, they must have let a few sneak out the door.

This place is about 45 minutes north of me. Thinking about driving up to take a looksee and ordering one in a different caliber. Still can't decide which one I want.
