This and the ammo where in a tool box given to me ages ago ( at least 14 years).
I was told it was issued to the tool box owner (who had passed on) while in the US Navy during the Korean War.
I know nothing else about it, but that the lady giving it to me said it had been in that tool box since she could remember and she was his daughter.
Some of you guys can likely tell me a bit about it, evenwhether the original owner was mistaken as to wher he got the knife or just talking trash to his daughter.
Neither the daughter nor widow ever found a .25 Auto BTW or a 9x19mm like the two boxes of 64 rounds each of appeariently Canadian WWII ammo also in the tool box. I suspect the 9mm ammo was obtained in error for a "9mm Corto" he did have.
So what is it?
