Scope for Super Redhawk .454

I recently acquired a Ruger Super Redhawk .454 Casull that I want to try deer hunting and possibly bear hunting. I figure the maximum range that I'll be taking a shot at is 75-100yds.

Is a 2x scope good enough for that, or should I go with a little more magnification? These are the 2 I'm trying to decide between:

I think you might want a bit of zoom for 100 yards. I have a 2-6x on my encore pistol. I know I like to have the option to turn up the power when needed. Love the SRH .454. Wish I would have never sold mine.
