I need some feedback on scopes you all have used for a .22 for a youth. I just purchased a Rossi Trifecta and would like to put a scope on the .22 barrel, but don't really know who makes a decent .22 scope. I was thinking a 4x or 2-7x?? Around $150 or less. Any recommendations are appreciated!

In that price range, I don't think you can go wrong with a Nikon ProStaff Rimfire scope.

  • 4 x 32 ~ $100 retail
  • 3-9 x 40 ~ $150 retail

I have a BSA Sweet 22 on my Ruger 10/22. Mine is the 6-18x40SP model. It took second place in a 100 yard bench rest competition at my local gun club. Mine was the only rimfire rifle out of the 11 there and it outshot 9 centerfire rifles with much more expensive scopes.

I like it because it is easy to dial in different ranges with it.

I just bought a Center Point for mine because I have read a lot of good things about it and it doe snot hurt the wallet.
