So, I've got a terrible condition (rusted badly, but I cleaned it, bolt bent by Bubba, stock chopped up, butt shortened, barrel cut back, sight removed, etc.) MN91/30 that I'd like to scope, since it outshoots all my other MNs (1 1/4" groups at 100 yards, pretty consistant)
What mount would you recommend? I've seen some that replace the rear sight leaf, that looks interesting... and I've seen some that require drilling and tapping, which I could do without a problem. I'm in the air as to which would be better, but if this helps, I'm also looking at putting a red dot on this in the future, so the mount would need to accomodate both.
Can you tell I'm green when it comes to scopes?
