Scripto lighter's are awesome for the ar15

I was helping a friend put together his first ar15. I sent the selector spring flying across the room, lost forever. I broke a bic, a cheap lighter from bp and a scripto looking for a spring. The spring in the scripto lighter was not identical but it fit, it worked.

So if your in a pinch and need a spring. Get a scripto lighter

I didn't launch one, but I did drop it. Ordered spares for all the lower springs that I keep in my tool kit as a result. About an hour after I placed the order, as these things normally work out, I found both the spring and detent. Regardless, spares are not a bad thing.
