OK, and yes I realize I'm in South Carolina, and this is a good ways into the future. But I'm trying to plan now.

As soon as the Battalion Commander gets back from his leave, I'm putting in a leave form for 2-11 June, to go visit the in-laws in Renton, WA. There's one weekend in there-the 5th and 6th.

So-anyone from western WA up for a meet then?

Just let me know when you get here and when you wanna go out.

I'll even show you my favorite out of the way spot where we can shoot anything and everything.

OK...Leave was approved for 5-13 June. Will be staying with the in-laws in Renton.

Research shows that WAC is having a show in Monroe on 6 June. Haven't been to one of those in a few years. I know it won't compare to Puyallup, but is it worth the trip from Renton?

The next weekend, my Saturday morning (12 June) will be occupied running the Sound to Narrows in Tacoma. But the afternoon is free.

Isn't there a Rod & Gun of some sort in/near Renton?

The Monroe show, while a lot smaller than Puyallup, is usually worth attending. Plus if you want to go to the show early and then go shooting afterwards we are very close to "The Pit" I alluded to earlier.

OK, this thread has hibernated for a while...still will be in the greater Seattle area basically 6-12 June with the 5th and 13th being travel days.

I'll be bringing my Sig 229 and my wife's Kimber Ultra Carry, so we'll be able to go shooting. Haven't discussed any activity plans thus far with the in-laws though. But I can say that my wife is really looking forward to being able to leave Jr with her mom and go out as a couple. And we do go shooting and to gunshows as a couple. :D

What days do you want to go shooting?

I have a graduation to attend on the 12th but am free most of the other days

Anyday I can go shooting is a good day...I'm on vacation. The only set thing on my schedule is the Sound to Narrows the morning of the 12th. Not sure if the in-laws have anything planned.

I just figure weekends would work best for most people, which means the 6th or afternoon of the 12th.

How about the 6th? Sometime in the afternoon, perhaps.

Where would you like to shoot?

If you're in the south sound, I am the member of a gun club near Black Diamond, and can sponsor anyone on the range.

I think the 6th will work. The WAC show in Monroe would probably make a good link0up point.

Any takers? I'm flying all day tomorrow (God I hate cross-continent travel). I do plan on going to the Monroe show, probably around mid-day or early afternoon.
