"Following it?" Hell, my boss and co-author, Alan Gottlieb, sued the state over it.
And, yes, I will be writing about it.

Gun owners nationwide have grown weary of being made the scapegoats for crimes committed by career thugs, so it is understandable why resistance to new gun control measures has grown over the years.

Editorials in typically anti-gun metropolitan newspapers invariably call for stricter controls on law-abiding citizens, perhaps because they have yet to figure out how to hold the real criminals responsible. So, such editorials transfer the “guilt” to the inanimate objects used by these outlaws, erroneously believing that by placing ever-increasing restrictions on firearms and their lawful owners, this will somehow strike a blow against violent crime.

Dave:

I enjoy your writing and thank you for all you are doing to inform us on the attacks against our freedoms.

In one of the links on one of the pages, I found a reference to the book you wrote regarding WA State firearm laws - but I can't find my way back to the link! While I was at that link, I looked for a way to order the book online - but couldn't find one.

Please let me know how I can order a copy.

Thanks...

Keselrings in Sedro Woolley also sells it. I thumbed through it while I waited for "the powers that be" to process me when I purchased a gun. Great book. Very practical. I bought a copy. A quick note on the "processing"... after going through the AFL process and, from what I understand, the identical process to get a CPL (paying twice of course for basically the same checks), and after providing them with 3 months of utility bills to prove my WA residence, I decide to buy a gun and find out I've been put "on hold". Huh? I did everything but provide DNA and get the rubber glove treatment and they put me on hold?

Anyways, fortunately Keselrings has dealt with this a lot in the past and they routed my app to a "manager" at the "place where the powers that be" are, and it was cleared up in about 45 minutes and I walked out with my new gun.

...and then there was the incident just the other day when I got pulled over by a trooper for expired tabs (expired 2 days), was carrying my concealed pistol and had 5 of my friend's unloaded guns in the back of my vehicle. That is a story in itself, but surprisingly, I had no problems (although I sure could have used a pair of Depends). :)

Did I mention the book is great and well worth the $?

...and thanks for your work on the AFL!

Examiner.com is strictly ON-LINE and it covers lots of ground.

Here's my weekend entry for Saturday, March 7.

When a three-judge federal court panel ruled in February that California prisons were over-crowded and that the Golden State had to reduce its prison population by as many as 57,000 inmates, it sent shockwaves that should have been felt along the entire West Coast.
Washington State faces an $8 billion budget shortfall, and you can bet the farm and your first-born child that when the slashing begins, prisons and police agencies are not going to be spared from the meat cleaver.

Dave, why don't you have a DIGG link on your GRE? Most other GREs have it and DIGGing an article helps with exposure.
