Self Defense Knife

Ohhh, small blades of the right shape in the right role can be great, but "guru" Nino Kalaj has made a monumental fail (regardless of his MMA "chops").

Cold Steel Mini tuff Lite....just big enough to be useful, pretty solid grip; and scary sharp...not bad for a " minimalist cheap lock back folder"... yeah, I prefer larger/ fixed blades , but one cannot always go that way.

Guys, I know for a fact that the OP has a sister who successfully defended herself with the thing. I know this because I read it on the Internet, and like the lady in the State Farm commercial says, they can't put anything on the Internet that's not true. I read that on the internet.

The lady was attacked by an animal thought to have been extinct. It was several times bigger than she was, though they haven't identified it yet they think it's some kind of lizard, possibly a saurian (no, not the guy who tried to kill Frodo.) Despite their size and strength difference, she managed to cut some of the tendons and run away.

As for self defense, if there are times I'm not allowed for one reason or another to carry a gun or a knife, I have yet to find a place that won't allow a teacher (or anyone else, for that matter) to carry a pen. I have had to use this once, and it did a very good job at stopping a person from trying to take my car in Nogales.

Ahhhh, a pen that is truly mightier than the sword...;)

I am nor sure if that "link to news story" comment was real or not... I think that may have been sarcasm as well...
