I bought 12000 last winter and have used most of them. They all went bang. I did chrono them and compared them to Remington, CCI, Federal, and S&B and they averaged maybe 30-40 fps slower than the rest. Only enough difference if you're right on the borderline for power factor. Couldn't feel any difference.
Kind of harsh, no? All the guy did was quote a price, not try to blame someone for murder! Be prepared to back it up, really? Lighten up a little. Besides, I see them on AmmoSeek for $32.99/1500 like he said.
I bought a case of 12,000 of the fiocchi spp and have used almost all of them and have had 0 problems. They were all loaded in 9mm, but they worked as well as CCI 500’s for me. I’ll be getting another case as funds allow, or maybe 2.
Found same thing here. Bass pro shop prices are way to high. Prefer supporting local, but now buy all online. Liked Cabela's and went there few times a month.
Just at a glance I see Remington 7 1/2 Small Rifle BR primers at Midway costing $32.99 Cabela's costing $31.99 7-1/2 Small Rifle BR, and that is of right now but given 10 min I am sure that will change. The old clique applies, "prices subject to change without notice". My philosophy is pretty simple, be it any reloading components, I get emails every day cluttering up my inbox. Cabela's Bass Pro, Midway, Mid South and likely a half dozen retailers. When I see a good price and a good deal I buy stuff. Likely why I have more stuff stashed than I will likely use the remainder of my life. We see this all the time with not just reloading components but also loaded ammunition. Ron
Through the link I gave... Outdoor Unlimited has them for $249, which works out to be $20.83 per 1K. Exactly !!
I don't know how much shipping and HM is at Outdoor LTD, but $21/K is a screaming deal on small pistol primers.
HazMat and shipping is $41.90 for 12,000 Fiocchi primers at $249.99 which comes out to $24.32/1000 - https://www.outdoorlimited.com/acce...mers-small-pistol-445amp-case-of-12000-count/
