I'm so pleased with my BHP that, if I were not ever allowed to get another pistol in my life, I would still be happy.
Wes said exactly what I was thinking. Make mine another selection of the Browning Hi-Power.

I do not know the longevity of alloy or polymer framed guns (they have not been around long enough) so if it is just one for the rest of my life a steel gun would be the best choice. This gun would have to have high parts and gunsmithing skills availability in a widely available cartridge. It would have to be ergonomic, reliable, accurate and comfortable to carry (meaning for steel it would have to be slim profiled, as it would inherently be heavy)..based on this I can only think of 1 gun....

I have many guns that will stay with me for the rest of my life. That being said, if I had ONLY ONE it would be either one of my Glock 20's or my Glock 29.

Now that you mentioned it-

Probably my 9m/m West German SIG-Sauer P228; cuz
of the ammuntion availability, virtually world-wide*!:D :uhoh:

*FootNote- if the .45 ACP were available as is the 9m/m,
then I certainly would have chosen my West German SIG-
Sauer P220A!:D

Tamara,

I just like the 9mm cartridge. It scores well under all criteria, and excels under several.

It also fits a lot of lead spitters, which increases the odds of success when ammo foraging.

Hey Tamara-

I haven't been oversea's in quite a while; but if I were called
into action, then I would definitely like to have my SIG P228
with me.! In this day and age, one never knows where he
or she may end up?

Best Wishes,
