Has anyone ever machined off excess metal : *Shaved Weight* off a North American Arms 22 Magnum Mini?
(Without Compromising Strength)
I would like to take off as much as POSSIBLE
 
nope, but if you do, I would love to see it. FWIW, a 1-5/8" 22lr Mini shoots 40gr at 840FPS (cci Velociter over a shooters chrony), which is near what a 22 mag will do.
