My mother is giving me her trap shotgun, this gun was handed down to her from my grandfather when he passed. We both live in Nevada, just she lives on the other side of the state from me. I searched around and cant find exactly what I am looking for. The shipment will be of a shotgun, from one resident of Nevada, to another resident of Nevada. Can she ship this direct to me?

    Federally, yes.

Check your local laws before proceeding, but I don't think it's a problem.

    Ditto igpoobah.

Fed regs allow for intra-state shipment of long guns (shotguns and rifles) via USPS.

Check Nevada regs for any state restrictions.
