    Unagi Maki for everyone!!

    El T,

How long you gonna be in town? What you school'n on? Where you want to shoot?

Oleg and company usually come to my place to skeet or pistol shoot. Guncraft is 10 minutes away and has an indoor pistol range that you can rent SMG on and ORSA has a 1000 yd high power range. The indoor tactical problem range for Airsoft/simuniton is laying fallow right now, but I would think that we could get to it also.

hso, flying down on Thursday, in town for the weekend for a martial arts seminar. I was urged to go to Cleveland that weekend and fight in the tournament. But, I'm too old and too pretty to still be doing that stuff. Besides, look forward to learning new stuff down there.

Which seminar and who's teaching? CB or Chin Na? If you need a free place to stay the "Guest Quarters" are available.

    Frohickey,

Sheeeeeeeeit son, we ben eat'n mud bugs and turtle for a'long time. Tain't nuthn munch a lettl bait ever now and then. Pick 't up at K-roger (Kroger), bringt back t' th' house, put on a lettl Skynrd, an pop a cold PBR (well that's what Kiren tastes like to me) with it after a long day on the range. OBTW I've got a 45 ft. pistol range with stands off the back porch and the neighbors up the hill only ask if we're "out of ammunition yet?" when they're getting ready for dinner.:D Come to God's Country (where you feel like a god instead of a peasant) sometime and we'll break out the barbeque and a "brick" or two.

Sushi, gunfire and meeting THR folks sound great

Hopefully, I'll still be able to do that AND my 30th birthday party planned for April 24th...

Just realized that the 22nd is a Thursday, and I'll be teaching in Nashville...so count me a no-show.

Put me down as a definite maybe.

I'm off that day, but so is my wife. If she wants to go, then we will be there.

    BTW, where and when?

Plan? Plan and El Tejon, words mutually exclusive, see also organization, squared away, or quasi-plan.:D

I was going to call hso after I flew in during Thursday morning. Maybe shoot (I'm just bringing pistolas) in the late afternoon/evening and sushi afterwards?

The seminar and the phone will keep me hopping during the weekend, but maybe just dinner on Friday or Saturday?

Well, shooting can be done in the back yard of La Casa Del Hso. (I live down in the field hands' shack. :D )

I would highly recommend pre-planning a whine to hso about how huunnggryy you are. This frequently results in various yummies like blackened salmon or tequila-marinated chicken. It's good to have a neighbor who is such a hardcore epicurean!

Right then, it's Wednesday morning, I'll be in court all day (try to check THR at lunch) so sing out now if you want to meet for dinner sometime this weekend or kill some paper.

I'm calling hso tomorrow when I get in. See y'all then.:)

    Durnit, I'll be at Randy's Boomstick Emporium from 1330-1815 on Thurs, 1030-1815 on Fri, and 0930-1615 on Sat. (Randy's Guns: That's 865-688-0077. Y'all come buy somethin', y'hear? :D )

If I miss out on something, I will be very, very bitter. :scrutiny:

Met ElT. He was witty and charming, but it was very disconcerting the way a gong would mysteriously ring every time he said something. ;) :D

See, he's without horns and a tail (but does have an eeevil laugh).

Ahh, res, there is much wizdumb within the furry one. [gong sounds]:D

Great to meet everyone. Many thanks to hso for the hospitality of his family and to Tamara to overcome her desire to push me out of her car for all the grief (albeit good-natured:D) grief I have given certain individuals on THR.
