Shooter's Optometrist in NE?

The eyes are going at 45 - I can't get in close enoguh to the rear sight anymore and don't want to put red-dots on pistols. Does anyone know of a shooter friendly optometrist in New England - NH, MA, ME? I just can picture bringing in a pistol to the local LensCrafter's to discuss my problem...
