Tx Governer Rick Perry ( he was Ag Com then though)

Wade Bowen (Singer)
Roger Creager(singer)
Kevin Fowler (singer)

All the singers are Texas Country Artists and "famous" around these parts

Years back shot with old time comedian and friend of Frank Sinatra.....Charlie Callas.........I shot next to him at a muzzleloading shoot. He couldn't stop making his wierd noises and doing impressions of Boris Karloff. Just couldn't shoot as he was just hysterical. Had a great time and took his lawn chair home that he left behind.

I grew up hanging around my dad and his shooting buddies and was able to shoot from time to time with them. Some locals around here may consider these guys famous. My dad, Mike Henry was a pretty well known locally for his revo shooting skills. There was also a guy by the name of Rondy Neil, he was most likely known in shooting circles for his sense of humor. Also Brian Enos, nice guy. I beleive he co-owned a z-car repair shop with Rondy. Rob leatham was another buddie of my dads, very nice fellow.

Rondy passed of ALS about 13 years ago and I still miss him. He was probably the funniest guy I've ever met. Brian isn't really shooting anymore, guess he's busy with his buisness and website. Rob met up with my dad the other day and I got an invite to do some shooting with him. I shoot at the same range as Rob, so I'll get a chance to shoot with TGO pretty soon.

Thing about shooting with "Famous People"......the ones I've been around don't wear their celebrity status as "look at me, I'm someone that's been on TV". They are humble and polite, just wanting to fit in with the other shooters. No arrogance or narcissistic tendencies.

I'm 70 now but in the middle 60's meet and spent a lot of time shooting with Col. Jack Y. Canon (Inventor of the Glaser Slug). Many good memories and stories about this gentleman. I think I'll just keep them to myself!

I've never shot with these gentlemen, but when I came back from the 'Nam and was in Tripler Army Hosp. recovering, I met Richard Deacon, Tennessee Ernie Ford, James McArthur. Also met a Medal Of Honor recipient, Peter Lemon at a Viet Vet's ceremony, very humble gentleman. Would definitely like to meet Lee Ermey.:cuss:

I wasn't at a range and the topic of firearms wasn't broached, but I was cc'ing my .38 when I got to shake hands with Tim Allen at a car auction some years ago.

There is youtube video of Conan O'Brien hanging out with Hunter S. Thompson shooting class III firearms and drinking burbon. I would loved to have been a part of that.
One of the funniest things I have seen on youtube. Here is the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FNEImAIM4L4

While living in Idaho I hunted with Freestyle Skiing Legend Airborne Eddie Ferguson. He was a wildman.

I dove hunted with an Olympic Silver medalist (don't recall his name) who never missed a dove with his 4/10.

Hunted with Harry Daum (mall developer) big game hunter and Bob Price (President of the Idaho Candy Company).

Everyone put their pants on one leg at a time. ;) A couple of them had awesome field dogs that were a joy to shoot over.

Those were the days. Pheasants, doves, chukar, ducks, galore!
