I have the 53. Sold my 46m some years ago and always regret it. Paid about $300. and not they go for around $600. Still have this beauty with a steel breech and on of the best triggers on a air gun. 6 way adjustable. This little rife was amazingly acurate 10 meter shooter. I would love to take my time and shoot the center vein of a leaf on a slightly windy Day. The gun had like a Cult like following.

The Little Black Russian.

I thought about getting a 46 for an air pistol back when they were cheap, I kick myself of for not doing it.

Baikal's airguns are impressively innovative. I wish I had been able to buy them while they were still imported and available.

The magazine fed cylinder, carbine kit, and periscopic sight on the MP-651K are such neat features.

Anybody got a Drozd?

I have a “little black russian” (Baikal MK 60). I removed the simple factory aperture and replaced it with a an Anschutz rear that I had lying around. Neat little gun.
I also have a model 46 purchased when they were first imported.
The Anderson airgun facility at Camp Perry, Ohio provides the model 46 for shooters who want to try air but do not have their own gun.
Fyi....it is a state of the art range....electronic everything. Very nice. Easy to use. Immediate feedback about shots.
