If there's one thing consistently agreed upon in postings here, it's that shot-placement is the single most important factor in defensive shooting - over caliber, etc. If that is the case the argument can be made that a little handgun, say a Kel-tec 380 for instance, with laser sites is the way to go in defensive handguns (assuming you've learned to hit where you want to hit). Because such a pistol is small, lightweight, and easily concealed.
