Good point. The question should be "should it stop being infringed upon?".

91 % TO 9% Yes. Out of hundreds of polls. this is the most satisfying and most important result I've ever gotten on any gun forum.. Trying to get to, "Shall not be infringed":

    This closes the gap. :what:

Thank you, the 91%. :) You are Americans.

    yes

it is not about keeping the guns out of the hands of the bad guys. IT is all about money. The bad guys do not get permits for anything. I would bet there is all ready a large amount of
    bad guys with fake permits.

    re: Constitutional Carry

I, like others, groan, when We The People, have to come with our hat in our hands and beg or ask or plead to some (expletive) bureaucratic, self-annointed, impersonation of some deity, for something that has already been established, and bought and paid for, with the blood and lives of so many of our people.

As for the cops, this 'process', which is more of a monetary one, than anything really of a 'legal' matter (see above). By definition, we are buying absolution, plain and simple, in the same cock-eyed manner, that having that 'police friend's' sticker on your car, USED to get you a pass, if you were stopped. The cops ARE CHARGING YOU FOR SOMETHING YOU ALREADY HAVE!! (see above)

Lastly, if you are a present-serving member of our military, a military veteran that was in theatre - (meaning during Vietnam, if your butt stayed stateside, you get doe-gats), or a disabled military veteran, you already fulfilled ALL the requirements, paperwork, and 'mother-may-I's', and need no other explanations.

If I do not need a licence or permit to hoist a sign for XYZ religious doctrine, why on earth should I need one for bearing arms?

Individual states should not be able to opt out of the U.S.Constitution. There are about 5 states that need to be brought kicking and screaming into the 21st Century, they are not going to do it on their own.
