Should I buy a savage 99m for $400?

Savage 99 rifles are very good hunting rifles but not exactly target rifles. Knowing this should be helpful.

I've had very good luck hunting with my 99-C in .308. It consistently shoots into a 5 inch circle at 150 yards with any brand of ammo. Scope is Simmons ProHunter model featuring 2X - 7X.

I sent my rifle to MagnaPort in Michigan and my muzzle jump issues vanished!
