Should I change Focus? And how?

Im thinking of changing focus in my life...like Im somewhat bored with all this stuff...and wifey says if ya wanna buy, sell...so...

I dont need all these 9mms...I'm gonna keep my custom Browning...now which ones go..

Walther P99, HK P7 or SIG 228? Of the three, I could supress the Walther easiest...but the SIG 228 is probably a better pistol...but then again, I dont carry any of them, 9mms are a dime a dozen, if the SHTF take the Browning, I guess...so why have any of them? I mean if I sold the Walther for $450, the HK for $750 and the SIG for $500 Id free up a good chunk of change...

Pre 64 Win in 300 H&H? What for...I go Hunting 2-3x per year. Got my 338 Sako custom carbine that will kill anyhting in the world...so why screw around with a 300 H&H? Thats as much as $1000 tied up in that....

Why do I have an M1 Carbine...I dont shoot it....$600+ worht of dust collector

What do I need TWO Swedish Mausers for? And why do I need a Yugo mauser..thats about $400 in Milsurps....

Keep the S&W Mountain gun of course, the pocket guns and my Defender and the Nagant revolver...and the Broomie..

Or get rid of the Broomie? Thats the only gun Ive been shooting....

Keep the AR.....

Maybe keep the Browning, the Defender, one Swede, the AR and my Sako. Also the Enfield in the truck...and the Nagant..

Then get a FAL and a SIG 210...build up a 6.5 x55 custom on one of the actions I have lying around...

Maybe get a series 70 again?...

Wild...I've been where you are now. A closet full of toys and....why? Most of them I rarely shot. I had a bunch of money tied up in .308 semis....FALs..G3s...yadayadayada.

They're gone. And I picked up a post-ban IMI Uzi.

Why? Most people will say a 9mm carbine is like tits on a bull....But, I'll tell ya why....it's fun. I had forgotten "fun" and concentrated on what I "should" have. I like it becasue it's a hoot to shoot, accurate, reliable, and 25 and 32 round mags are cheap.

What's fun for you? Now, I'm thinkin about black powder and a nice musket....

I don't buy into the "never sell your guns " message. I've owned more guns than I can recall, and I enjoyed most of them, but I wouldn't own the ones I now have, if I hadn't sold some...and that would be a shame, because I am pretty content with what I currently own...and that's never happened. Make a list of your guns in order from "can't live without" to "I'd keep it if I was wealthy". Then calculate the value from the bottom to the top of the list until you have enough $ to buy what you want...then sell them quickly and move on. Get your new toy and be happy.

I'd love to have a (sub)machine gun/assault rifle of some sort. The prices can only go up, as well, so you'll be able to recoup your investment, barring some radical changes in the U.S. Congress.

How many good condition M4A1s are out there? Or MP5s? Or maybe something a little classier, like a BAR?
