    I'll start;
    Star modelo B, 9mm para, 1943 (the model B in 9mm para was sold to Nazi Germany to compensate for low german production, the only import pistol that did not always have the waffen stamps)

    I'm happy to get mine up and running again after it lost it's extractor spring and getting a replacement was becoming a pain. After getting a too short spring I finally got it going today. It gets to celebrate at the range Saturday.:D

    It's a Russian Capture, with custom walnut grips. Have the originals set aside.

    Depends. Bulgarian military models can still be found for less than $200 if you look around. They go up from there.

    I just sent for my C&R paperwork. Honestly, I'm doing it more for discounts at places like Midway than anything else. I'm not very into surplus rifles. Now handguns is different. What handguns are commonly available for C&R? Do the CZ52's and Maks qualify? I seem to remember that the Argentinan Colts were C&R also, but I assume that supply has dried up. I can see me dumping some cash on C&R pistols if there is a decent selection out there.

    Chuck Perry-

    CZ52's are eligible. Mak's must be from Russia or East Germany to be eligible. Some restrictions apply. Your packet will contain a list from the ATF that will help you more than I can.

    Here's the S&W 1917 they made for the Brazillian government I own (not sure if it was made in the first run in the 30s, or the second run decades later): 100_4375.jpg

    The origional grips (which I still have) were hurting my hand and so I bought a super cheap, larger set of target grips and I ended up having to file it down so I could load the clips.
    Looks ugly, but it works for me and it's fun :D

    That '17 Smith is a nice piece. Do all the 1917's qualify? My app just showed up in today's mail. Seems pretty straight forward. I don't know; the more pistols I see the broker I think I will become.

    Automags are fun, but you have to reload if you want to shoot it.

    If they were made more than fifty years ago, then they automatically qualify. I don't know when S&W stopped making the M1917 for the US market, but I do know that all Brazillian contract 1917s are on the C&R list.

    Never got to play with an Automag, but willing to learn. I would guess that reloading is a lot easier now that Starline offers the brass. Don't have to cut up all those 308's now.
