Show us a picture of your reloading bench

Now that is a REAL O press! :D
Looks good except one really important fix. Your scales need to be on a wall mounted shelf. The vibration from the press can wreak havoc on accuracy. I did this:

It's not much. A repurposed desk free from my wifes work. 2 flimsy 3shelf cabinets from Amzn. Repurposed wall in our un-used dining room. I do like having the hand tools in the drawer right in front for easy access. Only have about 12" of table top to use in front of the cabinets, and have to move stuff if I need in the bottom 2 shelves. Later I will build and add an open shelf, full length of the desk and raise the cabinets up about 10". But works for now.

Moving sucks! ... Clearly a work in process! :)
Knowing you, you will have everything right where they should be soon enough!

I will be moving soon too so I share your sentiment about moving.

I have to build a new bench for the XL650 - but the prices of lumber! My goodness, they can sit on that lumber for a while longer. Stud grade 2x4's cost $7.55 at the local yard!
Try $8+ then sales tax and CA "lumber fee" on top of that! :fire:

Finishing wife's 24'x8' chicken house last year was a bit painful due to tripled lumber cost. I am PIF my main portable reloading bench and some presses to a deserving son of a friend with family who hunt and shoot multiple calibers. My sister's family is moving to Texas and BIL gracefully PIF his castered 6'x40" welded bench to be used as my new reloading bench (He said getting a large gun safe from me had nothing to do with it :D).

Shop space will be limited at the other house so I am looking at quick detach mounts for the presses in case I need to use the bench top.

Look's good to me!

Reloading, Ford and Harley.........We have those in common.:)

Yup, I was raised on Ford. I’ve owned them all, but my Fords have always treated me the best. Haven’t had my Harley out in a long while. We bought a camper at the first of the year, and my wife has had me dragging that thing around the country on my weekends off, lol.

I have a blank slate. The lights are in and the walls are ready for paint. After that come the cabinets and counter tops. The plan is to end up with about 20 ft. of counter space including a dedicated reloading bench and a dedicated gunsmithing workbench. Will probably add a center island later on. The space measures approximately 260 sq.ft.

Now that’s a first...cornice mounding in a loading room. Crocheted doilies too?

Lol, nope. It’s in my “man cave”. Lots of taxidermy, tin signs and pictures on the wall. A fireplace, a couple of arm chairs and a sofa, a coffee table, a couple guitars, a shelf with knife displays, a 120” projector, lots of pipes and tobacco, lots of ammo cans, and a poker table. It’s kind of a mess right now or I would post some more pictures.

CA lumber tax?

Reloading, guns, Gretsch, Peterson pipes and a boatload of pipe tobacco.....I like it all!!! Cool set up!

Thanks man. That’s just a very small glimpse of the pipes and tobacco. I’ve downsized my collection some, but I still have about 60 pipes and about 50 pounds of good tobacco. Collecting things is addictive to me. I also have a vintage ratchet collection of over 100 ratchets an about 60 adjustable wrenches. I also have over 100 knives…. It’s a real problem, lol. I used to have a beer bottle collection of over 200 bottles, but they were just taking up too much room so I got rid of most all of them.
