What same caliber guns do you own in both rifle and pistol?

What bullets are you currently shooting out of your combo’s?

45 Colt

Chiappa 20” barrel, takedown 1892 currently sighted with 180 gr cast coated RNFP

Smith & Wesson Model 25 Classic w/ 6” Barrel currently sighted with 180 gr cast coated RNFP

Ruger Super Blackhawk currently sighted with 325 gr cast coated Wide Flat Point

Smith & Wesson Model 25 Mountain Gun currently sighted with 255 gr cast coated Keith

It was a good time to trim down the heard. 200-300% returns on guns i bought only a couple years back.

.22 rifle/pistol combos are always my favorite. I dont really have much use for PCCs.

Both shoot only 40 gr. reliably, but they are both tack drivers.

6" gp100 and a 77/357. Small bore ruger duo.


I had to figure a new load when I got the 77 though, it grouped horribly with my old standard 158 swc over 14 grains 2400. It prefers 180 grain wfn over h110 and my gp100 shoots everything well so after I burn up a couple thousand swc I'll just switch to the 180 grain bullet for all my 357 shooting.


I really want to get a 454 casull lever action to pair with my SRH or freedom arm 83 but I'm waiting on reports on that citadel (rossi as far as I've heard) , I could be wrong but I think @LoonWulf has one on order. If it ends up being a good rifle I'll get one, not going to pay the money big horn armory gets for their 454 lever action.

Super redhawk , freedom arms or bfr. I've got 2, bfr coming soon (but probably not a 454)

I don't have pics right now, but I have a Ruger Blackhawk and Marlin Model 62 Levermatic, both in .30 Carbine. Both fun guns.

IMHO it is not time to consolidate but to diversify. You need to have enough variety that you can find ammo for at least a few of your firearms.


This is my only pistol/carbine combination in 44 Mag, S&W M29 and Rossi M92.

I also have a 22LR pistol and a couple rifles in the cartridge too.

If pinned, can we wait a week? Pinning early has a tendency to reduce traffic and stunt threads before they play out, IMO.
