I know there have been posts about this before, but...

After reading about the short trigger experiences of others on THR and the Sig forum, I ordered one and installed it. I'm very happy with the change. My finger/trigger position is improved because of it. More reading led me to order the Sig slim grips from Top Gun Supply (always thumbs up for Tom). I figured the price was worth the experiment.

This is like holding a totally different handgun in my grip. I won't go so far as to say that it feels like a 1911 (my favorite in the hand), but it sure is much, much closer. And the stippling on the slim grips, though it might look smoother in the photo, is actually more pronounced than the stippling on the standard grips. I prefer the texture on the slim grips.

I bought this 220 Carry to be my main carry gun and was disappointed in the initial grip/finger on trigger position. With the original parts, there was no way this could be my everyday carry. Now, it's a no-brainer. For me, perfection.

Four pics follow (sorry that the angles aren't the same - too lazy to put the standard grips back on and reshoot):

Nice gun Frandy! (BTW - awesome pictures!) I do love the two tones.

Do you carry it with the flush fitting 7 round mags or the extended base 8 rounders??
I personally like the old style 7 rounders, but that extra round is very tempting.

I'm carrying with flush 7, one in the pipe, and carry a single 8-rounder in a mag carrier.
