The first P320 with an alloy frame/grip module.
My takeaways are:
They made it substantially lighter than the Legion.
They've brought back the loaded chamber indicator (which caused issues with earlier Legions and certain optics).
It's still not legal for production division (unless you remove the magwell).
Xray night sights as opposed to adjustable sights / fiber optic on the Legion.
Exposed magazine looks hideous, subjective.
Will SIG discontinue the X5 Legion? My guess is probably.

The entire excessively fenestrated, serrated, railed motif exemplified by ZEVved - out Glocks is hideous.

Gone is the generation of minimalist Berettas, SIGs, HKs, Brownings, and Colts.

Yep. The gun as a fashion statement. Ugghh...

Very much daub t they'll discontinued the tungsten infused frame of the Legion. The AGX and Legion are marketed for very different audiences.

The AGX is for folks who just don't like polymer frames.

The Legion is designed for multi-discipline Action Pistol competition. There are a lot of folks shooting the P320 with a mounted optic who prefer the 4.7" barrel over the X-Five 5" barrel for it's different recoil characteristics

A bit too much is going on with that Model for me, but it’ll certainly sell to those who desire what it offers .

That’s the best part about America; “One size forced on all” doesn’t apply at the gun counter ;).

If someone buys one, let us know your thoughts and how it shoots for you. Oh, pictures are mandatory :).

Stay safe.

W.W. Greener said that machine made guns could not readily be adapted to individual tastes, the hand built British Best was the way to go... if you could afford it.
Nowadays it is the other way 'round; the machining centers are used to crank out more and more niche products.
