Sig grip ?

Going to buy a Sig soon i have gone forth and back between p220 .45 or p229 .40 i finally decided on the p220 untill i handled both again for about the 50th time[unable shoot either] the p229 fits my hand perfectly..the p220 fits ok front to back but does not fill my hand as well side to side if that makes sense
my question is i have seen pics with some kind of rubber wrap around the grip..can you tell me what they are and would that increase the girth of the grip? it looks pretty cool also

That is a Handall Grip Sleeve, made by Hogue Grips. It should give you the extra width (aka a "palm swell") you desire, but at the cost of an increased trigger reach, which is a bit long already on that gun.

I recently 'discovered' my HandAll sitting in my drawer from when it was on my Ruger 22. Somehow I made it fit the Sig 220. Sure fills out the grip, that's for sure!
