Oh yeah, and the GSR comes factory dehorned in both the slide and frame, which I know ain't cheap to get done. I've shot my buddy's Kimber and it was pretty dang sweet. Accurate, reliable in the box I fired, great trigger. An overall superb shooting iron. But the damn thing was as covered in edges and ridges and general bodily harm inducing bumps as a bloody medieval morning star. Any barbarian warrior would be proud to have an unloaded, factory-fresh Kimber in thier hip as they enter battle.

Kimber will shoot like a dream but it's as dangerous to yourself as it is to your target until you get it dehorned,

I've been looking around and I think that finding a pistol with everything that the GSR comes with for the same price from other places a reach. Stainless frame and slide, no MIM, Novak's low-profile night sights, match-grade barrel, match hammer/sear set, match trigger, individually checked front strap and mainspring housing, a grip safety that I won't find uncomfortable after prolonged shooting, two Novak's magazines that a lot of people are happy to buy after-market and custom wood grips. And to top it off, Sigs reputation for excellence and great customer service.
If you're willing to give up the snazzy grips and the night sights, you can get the XO for between $700 and $800. :)

Happy so far with my relatively new SiGARMS GSR Revolution STX...I have about 500 rounds through it now and had some minor failures to go into full battery but that was only after it was filthy from firing Speer Lawman (Blue Box) and I was unable to add any lube while on the public range...it has been sent back to SiGARMS for some minor complaints that are not mechanical issues...I can report when it arrives back in my hands...

Kimbers come very well dehorned from the factory, you must have fired the only one that wasnt dehorned.

Both the Kimbers I own are smooth as a bar of soap on every edge and corner.

Now Colts, you can shave with the edges on my gold cup.
