    Good for them! I can't wait to see how these do in the field. They're very neat designs.

    Australian Defence Forces are kind of expected to. What with PRC only about a thousand miles away and all.

    Will be interesting to see how that NGSW stands up to military use. Of course, the real question will be if it's enough better than the 416 to make a difference.

    Oz has plenty of those.
    About the same land area as CONUS, yet with a population only about Texas' (25 million) and 60-65% of those are in 10-12 metro ares, largely on the coasts.
    Allegedly, when they did the big "ban" so enamored of by certain political types, that compliance was right about 30-40%.
    So, the common Digger is probably looked out for quite adequately. (If possibly less so in the big cities; and like big cities everywhere, the common folk oft move to the suburbs to be as far from the "safety" of the big cities.

    ADF has really needed an upgrade from their very old AUGs.
