sig p238 holster (shoulder)

looking for a quality (over the shoulder) holster for a sig p238 (2 tone, if it matters any). thanks, i appreciate it.

I have a Galco Classic Lite for my MK9 that works great.

Is that the mK9 you have pictured? I think the p238 is almost the same size?

I know how to size pants , shirts , soft drinks... but how would I know I have the right holster ?

It is. The P238 is a hair bigger. I looked on Galco’s site and they don’t list the P238. They make them for guns that are bigger and smaller so I’m sure one would fit your gun. I would email Galco and ask them which one would fit.

do i get a vertical or horizontal?

my concern is experiencing negligent discharges w/ a horizontal. i originally something with a longer trigger pull like a ruger LCP but that firearm was an arm and a leg to get in california. i'm afraid i'll accidentally shoot somebody with a horizontal rig.

not going to carry at work. i engage physically with too many confused/combative patients. if anything, it'll be in my lunchbox. lol

A pistol in a proper holster is not going to discharge. Don't be afraid of horizontal carry if that fits you better. Anyway, even if you were to wear vertical, going up stairs or being on an upper floor will have you pointing at the folks below you. Same with a belt carried weapon.

I pocket carry, and while seated my muzzle is pointing at the person sitting across from me, but that is not a concern since the pistol is secured in a properly fitting holster.

i ended up purchasing a the fieldmaster at first, but this post changed my mind. i have a bodyguard on the way whenever that is.
