I'm looking for a good IWB for my Sig. I'm currently pocket carrying it and, while it's not unmanagable, I have lost a few ounces and my pants sag a bit more, so the pistol's weight is sagging the waistline. Cinching the belt just isn't cutting it. So, time to spring for a holster, which I had planned to do anyway.

I'm a High Noon fan and have owned three different Split Decision models. Not only are they comfortable to wear, they're comfortable on the wallet, @ $35 or so.

Any other recommendations for a IWB holster in that same price range ballpark? I'm open to leather, leather/kydex, or "other," as long as it's durable (I live in Houston and sweat like the butcher, baker and candlestick maker) and comfortable.

For in the waste band , It is hard to beat a Crossbreed Mini tuck.
Lately I have been using a De Santis thumb break belt scabbard.
It hides nicely under a T shirt and is very comfortable.
It's not to hard to hide a P238.

JTQ: is that AHolster comfortable with kydex?
I don't have one, and I don't have a Sig P238, so I really couldn't say. I've been researching holsters for some time, and Aholster really seems to have some well thought out designs.

I can't imagine it would be too uncomfortable. The P238 is such a small pistol and the Aholster PWii is also small and kydex in general is very thin.

My IWB holster is a Raven Concealment Phantom for a Government Model 1911. It is thin, but a little wide from the leading edge to the trailing edge, for me at least. I'd think in comparison, I wouldn't even know I had a pistol on with the Sig P238 and the Aholster, the combination is just so small.

I have no connection to them and don't even own one of their holsters, but as I said, they have some designs that look good to me.

As far as kydex goes, in general, I like the material for holsters. I like that they stay open, especially for IWB holsters, they are light weight, and thin, I like the way a pistol positively snaps into position, and they are relatively inexpensive compared to quality leather holsters.
