AbosutleyComing a bit late here.

I bought my gf a compact model in 9mm a little over a year ago as a duty weapon for her to return to LE with.

Has a few thousand through it now and the only hiccups it's had were with a 50rd box of steel cased blazer that had about 4-5rds that FTE'd. She's absolutely deadly with it. Yeah it's a bit slow to fire due to the super long trigger pull, but it hasn't been a big issue. The trigger broke in beautifully as well.

I have two p250 FCUs and different xchange kits in 9mm and 45 ACP. Love the p250. SIG nearly ruined the p250 with early problems. Gen 2 is problem free. The haters are primarily Gen 1 owners who had legit reason to hate their guns, people who hate DAO triggers or people who have never even held one much less shot one but still gladly give their "expert" fifth hand opinion - my fourth cousin's ex-wife's neighbors boss's plumber knew somebody who had one and hated it.

Your satisfaction will rely almostly entirely on whether or not you appreciate a long but silky smooth DOA trigger.

I ran across the following review about the p250 - worth your time in reading.
