Just received an email from SIG announcing the 365 now is available with a safety. Really considering one now. I’m one of the odd ones that prefers a safety for a carry gun unless it’s a DA/SA or a revolver. It looks like it will operate like a 1911 so even better, and appears to stick out enough to actually be easy to disengage.

I prefer mine as is, the trigger and my brain is the safety. And this is from a longtime 1911 fan, but I realize a lot of people feel differently and would prefer a safety. Same reason S&W made the Shield both ways.

I have pistols with safeties and pistols without. The trigger on the one 365 example I was able to fondle was light enough that I think I would want a usable safety on it.

I have a p938 that I've recently put on consignment because I have to contort my grip to click the safety off. I just recently bought a Springfield 911 because the safety levers are just enough larger that I can operate them with a normal grip.

I'll wait 'til I can fondle the new 365's safety to make a decision. I don't need another pocket pistol, but sometimes I can't resist.
