Hey everyone,


I was wondering what the largest capacity factory mags are around and how much do they run......Has anyone had any luck with any non factory high cap mags and which ones where they....I am looking for my 226 9mm to hold more than 11 rounds with my factory mags....any advice is welcome ......I am looking for reliability for everyday carry

I think all factory hicap mags are 15 but I have seen either 20 or 30rd extended mags used by SWAT Police.

There are factory 20 rounders in 9mm for the 226. I've had one.

Mec-Gar also made preban and still makes very good flush fitting 17 rounders for the P226. Somebody over on Sig Forum had some prebans for sale awhile back.

If you can wait until Sept 14th then you can get some really nice mags.

CDNN has 15-round factory mags (VG) for $39.99, and a couple of other places did as well.
