Hot as balls. The car thermo said it was 102 outside. I have no idea how the 3 gun went as I was in the vendor area the whole day. We destroyed 4 cars. The smoke plume from one was visible from I-55. Tannerite was in abundance...briefly. Lots of cool toys. Multiple suppressed .50s, a couple of MP7s...I think the only thing I didn't see was a suppressed Nagant revolver.
Vendors present included AAC (obviously), SWR, Liberty, Daniel Defense, Surefire, Innovative Arms, Don's Guns, Tactical Tailor, Remington Defense, LWRC, HK, Knights Armament, Spike's Tactical, DPMS, Thompson Machine, Yankee Hill, Aimpoint, Major Malfunction, Allen Arms, EM Gear, Blue Force Gear, and a few others I can't recall. Suspiciously absent were Bushmaster, Leupold, and Magpul. Magpul especially because I know several of their guys were there - we had drinks with Nick from Magpul and John from Aimpoint last night. They all had tables reserved but never showed up, which was fine because we ended up appropriating the Bushmaster tables for our own. They may be there tomorrow.
Got some good pics which I'll post later and some free swag - hats, shirts, patches, stuff like that. Attendance didn't appear to be as good as in '09, but it's tough to tell because the facilities are so spread out. They ran out of food except for crawfish. What else...oh, it was freakin HOT.
