The array of holsters available for the 1911 is dizzying, frankly. But thats a good thing.
I'm trying to find a rather simple style leather holster, one that does not raise the grip much above the belt, made specifically for a 1911.
Most of the holsters I see ride the gun up higher than I want, or have a cant or some such detail. I just want a quality open-top leather holster to "hang my RIA from my belt" so to speak. Essentially, something like the classic "flap" holster, but without a flap!
Suggestions MUCH appreciated!
