and you had to choose between Glock 20/29 OR Glock 21/30, which would you prefer? So, it is either .45 or 10mm, full or compact. If you already own one as first choice, explain along with your choice, etc. I thought it would be interesting to see what people would prefer if they got it for free. Myself, I have a Glock 20, reload 10mm and .45, but would love to have a pair of 20's. Two loaded 10mm's with 32 rounds ready to blow just seems right to me.

I would prefer a 9MM version as I would trade it for something I want. I figure a 9MM would be an easier sell.

I'd take the Glock 21.

I already have a couple of .45's and don't want to add another caliber right now, especially since I don't reload yet and I feel that's pretty much essential to get the most out of 10mm.

I'd go with the G21 over the G30 because I'm already set for a carry gun.

So where should I tell my FFL to send his license for my free gun?

I already have a Kimber .45 acp, so I'd definitely go for the 10mm full frame. I also have a S&W 10mm revolver and a lot of ammo, so I'd be good to go!

If I didn't already have a .45 acp it'd be a more difficult decision. Both are great rounds. I'd probably still go for the more powerful 10mm.

20 here as well. I want to add a 10mm to my collection, and I think that I would want it in a fullsize to make it a little easier to control. If I had my choice of ANY Glock for free, I think that's what I'd pick.

Got Glock?

Have both, love both full sizes. Would like another 10mm to go the Wolf long slide conversion way --- if it did not go well, still got my original pair.

A 21 would be a practical decision. But if I'm getting it for free, I figure the free-ness of it offsets the difference in costs for a couple of boxes of ammo. Glock 20 it is.

Actually a friend did give me a free Glock 17 and a couple years later a G26.

I kept each of them for a while and shot them a good bit. Then I gave them back. So my answer would be, none of the above.

I just don't like Glocks.:D

21 full frame.

Already have one, want a brace. Was waiting on a used one to wander by, but as long as you're handing them out.....

No interest in 10mm. Great round, just not for me.

Carried the 30 for a while. Wasn't comfortable for me to conceal. Excellent gun, though. Nearly as accurate as my 21.

Practical side says Glock 21 but.....

The kid in me says Glock 20 all the way. There's no comparison between 10mm & 45ACP. The numbers do not lie. Plus you can fit 2 more rounds in. That's some awesome power in a semi-auto.

I'd be all over a G20, but since I don't currently reload I wouldn't really be getting the best out of it so I chose the G21. I have big hands, so the size of the grip isn't an issue and I've been favorably impressed with the G30s and G36s that I've shot.

I already have a 20.

I really don't need another 10mm so the 29 is out and the 21 is the same as the 20 just a different caliber.

So I'd take a 30.
