What Is It? The Randolph County Ruckus is the SASS sanctioned Illinois State Championship. It is hosted and organized by the members of the Prairie State Cowboy Action Shooting Association, Inc. We are proud to offer you four days of shooting, partying, and all-around cowboy fun.

When Is It? The match is scheduled for July 28 - 31, 2005. Side matches will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2005 with six main stages on Friday, July 29, 2005 and six main stages on Saturday, July 30, 2005. A Club Challenge, Wild Bunch Match, Tequila Challenge, and Top Ten Shoot-Off will be held Sunday, July 31, 2005. The awards presentation will also be held on Sunday afternoon upon completion of the day’s shooting activities

Just wondered if anyone was going to this? Its in Sparta, Illinois at the new World Shooting Complex. Never been to one so I am going to try and check it out on Saturday if I have the time. If nothing else, it should be a good show, 300 people with SA hadguns, double barrel shotguns and lever action rifles should be fun.

Check it out if you get the chance. The speed of the fast guys will surprize you, and everybody has fun. The big shoots like that draw vendors so bring a little spare change if you are thinking of buying a hat, leather, ammo, etc.
