I'd like to try getting all my fingers around my single-six for a change (no jokes! :) ) I've googled and looked on gunbroker but have only seen one that is clearly an extender and not just a replacement grip of the same dimensions. Any tips?

The hogue soft rubber grip does this for me, more room down and more room around. But as far as wood goes I dunno. I think that most grips that fit the Blackhawks will fit the single six. But don't quote me on it.

If so, I wonder if a standard Bisley frame grip would bolt onto a Single Six. A Bisley grip is longer and may give you what you're looking for. I looked in Brownell's to see if a Bisley .22LR frame grip for the Single Six was available, but they only list one for a Blackhawk. Might work, though. Might also be an excuse to buy a Bisley .22LR. ;)

I have a new model Blackhawk and a Single Six and the grips are completely interchangable.

There have been grips made to extend the butt of single action revolvers. I looked at Bob Munden's site recently and could not find the ones he used to offer.
But then where do you put your pinkie? Most SAA shooters curl it under the butt of the gun.
