Most would agree that the most stable (non-drilling-type) scope mounts on a SKS are these two:

-Scout Scope Mount

-Millett 1-Piece Angle-Loc Weaver-Style Scope Base with 1" Angle-Loc Windage Adjustable Rings Medium SKS Matte

Millett version is cheaper, but the Scout scope version is more versatile, with backup iron sight and quick change base.

I have both. One with a Millett red dot and one with Hakko red dot on two Yugos. The Millett setup hasn't lost zero after thousands of rounds. Haven't used the scout scope mount that much yet.

I have a receiver mount and a cheap BSA red dot on my SKS. I can keep it in a 10 inch group at 100 yards. At that distance the red dot is too large and my eyes are too old for real fine shooting.
