Never heard of it but looks like Czech pellet rifle - http://www.vzduchovka.cz/prehled/74600/74600_en.html

This forum discussion mentions 618 to be a good plinker for 10-20 meters with replacement parts source - https://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?topic=149723.0

Here's the expanded drawing/parts list but it's in Czech only (More Google Translate) - http://www.vzduchovka.cz/dokumentace/list_of_documents.html

I cannot speak to the 618 but I have a 631 that is a pretty nice air rifle. Trigger is good, accuracy is very good, shot cycle is smooth, low powered but wicked easy to cock. My only complaint is it has a "musket barrel" in length. I know not apples to apples but at least fruit to fruit so to speak so a data point none the less.

For $35 bucks if it COMPLETELY sucks you can at the very least tear it apart and teach little physics, captured/potential energy etc.

Found one for sale at Bakerairgun.com for $199 a bit much

I'm jumping on the $35 one. Test fired it.
.Seems everything works and the accuracy was spot on.
I like the sites on it and it seems well cared for.

Bought mine brand new for 15 bucks...about 55 years ago:) it wasn’t a power house but it was accurate. Killed a lot of chipmunks, red squirrels and such with it.

Slavia 618 Break Barrel Air Rifle
The Jr. sized Slavia 618 is a .177 caliber, single shot, break barrel air rifle that was manufactured in the former Czechoslovakia. There isn’t a lot of information available about these guns, but they were manufactured somewhere between 1955 and 1977
A low powered youth rifle 450 FPS
.177 caliber
Single shot
Spring Piston
Break barrel action
Overall length: 35.75″
Overall weight: 3.4 lbs

They run about $200 in 95% condition if you can find one. Sweet little plinker.

$200 in 95% condition for a Air Gun discontinued in 1973? Sorry, but I cannot believe that. Even the 630 is only worth $90.00 in 100% condition and that was discontinued in 2003. The FPS when new should be about right.

"The Slavia 618 and 624 share the same internal. The 624 only have a longer barrel and a longer stock. So the leather piston seal from JG Airgun can also be used for the Slavia 624.

Looks like the same class as the Old HW30MKll.And I would love to have one with a complete tune. Someone could make that a great project gun. The HWMKll is so fun to shoot even for adults.
Regardless of the cost, it is a great rare find.

Yes. Understand completley. I have never even bought a new airgun. All I own where bought used. Then went through with a fine tooth comb, and made better than anything from the factory.
