I decided that I didn't much care for the solid silver trigger that came on my Dan Wesson CCO, so I sent it off to Severns Custom for a couple of changes. I had Dave Severns drop in an STI long carbon trigger and also an ambi safety while he had it. I can shoot either hand, but prefer lefty, so the ambi is something that I prefer over flicking the single sided safety lever off with my forefinger (which is something that I'm sure most lefty's like me have mastered over time).
I like EVERYTHING about the CCO now. The perfect size for daily carry, and scary accurate.

Here's the CCO with his big brother, the Dan Wesson Valor. The Valor is a "range only" weapon, so it got the natural Ivory. The CCO is in the daily carry rotation, so it got the faux Ivory. Both are slims.

Very nice! Always liked the CCO size (once I found out about it) and hope to own one at some point. Just to clarify, is this the one they refer to as the "Bobtail CCO?"

Yeah, CZ insisted on calling it "bobtailed", despite DW's concerns about confusion. As you can see in the pic, the butt is rounded in about a 1/4" radius. Surprisingly, it makes it VERY comfortable to shoot for long range sessions. I have a Bill Wilson Carry that I picked up recently, and have a Fusion CCO with magwell build going that should be done in a couple of weeks. I've kinda fallen in love with the CCO platform. It's very nice.
    Thanks!

Cool. I just wish the prices weren't where they are - $1300 for a pistol, to me and my budget-minded upbringing, seems steep. Maybe someday ;)
