Hi,
Today I bought a Mauser Hsc, I watched youtube disassembly and reassembly videos, but when I reassemble it I set the slide back on with assembly plunger pushed up and the slide about 1/4" forward, all the way down into place and slide it back. The I release the plunger. All looks good. Then rack the slide, it stays back of course waiting for the mag to be reinserted. I reinsert the mag and the slide goes into battery and instantly the slide pops off the frame!
Have any of you had this problem? I just bought this, haven't fired it yet. It didn't do that when I bought it. I assume that the plunger catch is not coming into full engagement and with the shock of closing the slide is releasing. I'm hoping it is something common and obvious.
Thanks,
Parts
