I have in the past owned both stocks for the AR and the AK. While the one on my AR functioned as advertised the one on the AK well lets just say didn't live up to the hype. I beleive the issue on the AK was the AK was a MADDI made and didn't setup like it should have. But I do have a question about using Blanks with either the AR or AK platform, Some time back I placed an order for 100 rds of 7.62x39 blanks, when they arrived I had added a 0 in the quantity space so I wound up with 1000 Rds instead of 100. When I use the proper blank adapter for either of the platforms they have enough power to actually cycle the action. I was wondering if they might have enough energize to cycle the rounds. Blanks are a lot of fun, keeps everyone in neighbor hood wondering "Does he REALLY have a full Auto " or not.

    I really seriously doubt it.

Blanks have enough gas pressure energy to cycle a gas-operated firearm when using a blank adaptor.

But they have almost zero recoil due to no bullet mass to make a recoil operated bump-fire stock work.

Thanks RC , I really didn't think there would be enough engery to cycle without using a LIVE Round. Don't mind shooting my rds of just trying to make use of the mistake I made when I ordered the 1000 7.62x39 blanks instead of what I thought was supost to be 100 rds.

Why don't you just real rounds instead of blanks? Aren't they priced similar? It sounds like you live in a rural area in the first place to fire the blanks themselves.

The blanks I have are from a year or two back and they were super cheap. The rural area I am in is better than what most have, the city limits are literately right along my property line so I am in the County rather the city but I do try not to irritate my neighbor. I like shooting the blanks at time with my grandson, and I have used them at times to test out the function of a firearm without having to walk to back side of property.
